Kimmy Repond

In February 2023, at her first elite level European Figure Skating Championships – at the age of just 16 – Kimmy Repond won the bronze medal. With fifth place at the 2024 World Championships, she even achieved the best result for a Swiss female skater since Denise Biellmann won the world title in 1981.

The shining hope of Swiss women’s figure skating says: “I simply love what I do.” Yet behind the glitter are countless hours of hard work and dedication. Kimmy Repond stood on the ice for the first time at four years old and wanted to imitate her sisters. It was love at first sight – interpreting the music, perfecting the jumps and expressing her own personality through the programmes – and these challenges still inspire her today.

The ambitious goal of the Basel native, who has just come of age, is clearly defined: the 2026 Olympic Games. But until then, Kimmy Repond will demonstrate her exceptional talent and amaze the public at Art on Ice. A performance not to be missed if you want to admire Swiss world class!
