Casting

In order to be accepted into the talent pool, an annual casting takes place in which the best talents present themselves to a jury. You can find all the important information about taking part here.

Casting 2024/25

Some figure skaters from the Art on Ice young talents will be selected for the Art on Ice Tour 2025. Performance and availability will be taken into account. The selected figure skaters must be available for rehearsals and performances from 4 to 16 February 2025.

Eligibility to participat

All individual skaters from Team Novice and Team Junior of Swiss Ice Skating between the ages of 12 and 17 can apply for the casting via video:

  • The video should be 1-2 minutes long.
  • The video consists of your figure skating skills and a few words about your motivation for wanting to be part of Art on Ice young talents.
  • Your contact details.
The best of all applications will be invited to the casting. The casting will take place on 11 November 2024 in the Swiss Life Arena in Zurich. The selection for Art on Ice will be made after the National Championships in December in consultation with Swiss Ice Skating. Participation in international competitions that take place during or immediately after Art on Ice will also be taken into consideration.

Past castings

2023/24

At the casting in autumn 2023, the best Swiss ice skating talents were judged by an expert jury for the first time. The winners Ean, Leandra and Olivia performed at the Art on Ice shows from 8 to 17 February 2024 in Zurich, Fribourg and Davos.
