Andres Andrekson, better known as Stress, has been a defining figure in the Swiss music scene for 21 years and celebrates his 20th anniversary on stage in 2023. His ‘MTV Unplugged’ album, released on 10 November 2023, was recorded in front of a sold-out audience in the Schiffbau of the Schauspielhaus Zurich. Together with his band and numerous guest musicians, he transported the audience into a new musical world and presented his greatest songs in a completely new guise. Rap meets classical arrangements, strings meet organic beats – the sound colours are as colourful and diverse as Stress’s work over the last two decades. The album, including the Blu-Ray, impressively showcases the diversity of the Swiss musical landscape.

In addition to the album, Stress also shared his moving life story in the biography ‘179 Pages of Stress’. The story of how Andres Andrekson became Stress is a remarkable one, peppered with great successes and deep setbacks. Despite all the setbacks, Stress conveys a message of hope and shows how he learned to understand and help himself.

Stress will be part of the Art on Ice Tour 2025 from 6 to 15 February!
